HATW celebrates 10 years of recognition from HRC Foundation

Hands Across The Water is excited to announce that is has once again been recognized by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's All Children All Families program, and has now held that recognition for a decade, of which we are very proud. We are honored to be one of only two agencies (the other is fellow Ann Arbor agency Fostering Futures) in Michigan that have reached top tier Innovator status, but would be so happy to see others join us. Executive Director Katie Page Sander says “Now more than ever, agencies and individuals serving marginalized populations are challenged to commit publicly to inclusion. HATW is proud to continue to work towards delivering services that affirm all people, to use our platform to advocate publicly and proudly for these rights, and to be humble enough to recognize that we still have room to grow, learn and improve.”
